ECCVT

On 23 April, the European Coordinating Committee on Veterinary Training (ECCVT) met in Vienna, Austria. The Committee composed of the European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), the European Board for Veterinary Specialization (EBVS), FVE and the International Veterinary Student Association (IVSA) met under the chairmanship of Prof. Petra Winter, with as special guest Dr. Ulrich Herzog, CVO of Austria and Vice President of the WOAH Regional Commission for Europe. The Committee discussed the WOAH activities on Day-1 and One Health competences, the impact of the new EU AI Act on the veterinary profession and activities in the different organisations to support students and recent graduates via coaching and mentoring programs.
